Good Morning,
I've been trying to call the Advice Bureau, but unfortunately have unsuccessful so far.
I just had one enquiry, regarding my mother-in-law. She currently rents a council flat in the Walton area.
She has an agreement, with the council where she sends her pay slips to the council and her rent is in line with her earnings.
My question is, my wife and I have a one year old daughter and we would be willing to give my mother-in-law what she currently earns in her job including covering her NI. This would solve our childcare issues and of course she wouldn't be financially out of pocket either.
Our mother-in-law would of course also have some quality time with her grand-daughter she would be with someone she knows.
I don't want to interfere too much with the agreement my mother-in-law has with the council as she will be of retirement age in the next year or so anyway.
Would this proposed solution be agreeable to the council?
I look forward to learning your thoughts,
regards,
Kieran MacManus
