St George's Hill in Walton According to BBC? - Posted By KK (kris) on 13th Mar 09 at 1:52am
BBC Breakfast on 13/03 featured Max Clifford (regarding Jade Goody).

Bill Turnbull (BBC Breakfast reporter) who himself is from Surrey, finished live TV link with Max Clifford with these words: Thank you, that was Max Clifford from Walton on Thames {Embarassed} . Couple of weeks ago I come across this telegraph.co.uk article which starts interview with information that Max Clifford lives in Weybridge. Is Telegraph wrong? You would say - who cares? But I mean - common people if our media have this accuracy on its own backyard what is happening when they actually deliver world news to us? Max Clifford is a person who cooperates with media on daily basis so this all should be clear for them.

- For all people from media writing about the area we have a nice set of links from Wikipedia to understand where St Georges Hill, Burwood Park, Hersham, Walton-on-Thames and Weybridge are located
Un-Fortunately for me The Independent is quoting Max Clifford on the beginning of interview-article "I've lived in Burwood Park, near Weybridge" so I went to Wikipedia (I know Wiki has hundreds of problems with content quality) and it says Burwood Park in Hersham and this was posted by Burwood Park Residents Limited. I Talked to another Hersham (Upset that Hersham has got no page on Surrey-Online) resident and he says - Royal Mail Postcode KT12 makes us Walton-on-Thames but fortunately for Hersham the town is older than postcodes and for centuries maintained its separate from Walton-on-Thames status

So as I was confused myself I decided we will try to put Hersham on the list of surrey towns and for future reference asked where Max Clifford lives I will reply Surrey {Smile}
