Personal Trainer-Physio and Fitness Plan - Posted By nush (nush) on 15th Mar 09 at 11:52pm
I am looking for highly qualified personal trainer - fitness instructor in Hampton Court area. I searched through couple of directories, yellow pages I found there guys with NVQs with no or little experience or very expensive coaches-physios, trainers who used to work with GB Teams etc. An option which I use at this moment is Amida Platinum Trainers. The problem is that I do not need and have a time to use the entire spa and facilities which makes my personal training quite expensive. I believe in good ideas and hard work. I found that I may need one of these mobile personal trainers with a lot of experience and ideas. I know they can do magic using your own home/garden. I did search on Google but number is overwhelming and I know that half of them are simply not up to the job.
I have very strict plan to get well after hip operation. I used to run 5k and 10k on regular basis.
Please let me know if you have any good or bad experience with personal trainers in this area? How much they take per session/hr?

Recently I used personal trainers - 4dfitness. They are here on Surrey online directory I believe. I met Nick who is running this company and has a great knowledge regarding finess, neutrition, posture. About 7 months ago when he was a speaker at Surrey Business Club meeting i talked to him about his approach (I had dislocated shoulder and wanted to back to good form for my squash turnament within 4 months). I believe you should talk to him nush as he is himself personal trainer - I doubt he will be able to take care of your case as he is London based but his website shows that he has got network of personal trainers in your area 4dfitness Personal Trainers

Have you tried searching on REPS www.exerciseregister.org this is where all qualified fitness instructors / coaches will have registered. My wife is one of them.
Hope that this helps Paul

Thank you Paul. I noticed this logo hundred times but I never paid a lot of attention to this. I believe all these schemes are good only for general verification not reference how good particular trainer is. I have to decide by the end of the week - weather is getting batter and batter - does your wife have a website?

I have recently started training with a personal trainer and after two months I am really noticing the difference. I have lost weight and I feel a lot healthier. I did quite a bit of research before deciding on a trainer and I also talked to friends. In the end I went with a company called Motivate Personal Training and I would certainly recommend them. Their website is http://www.motivatept.co.uk
Good Luck!
