NETWORKING IN SURREY .com IS NOW LIVE! (27th Jan 10 at 5:33pm UTC)
A new online resouce for Surrey Business Networkers
January2010 sees the launch of a new website offering an independent guide to business networking in Surrey: www.networkinginsurrey.com - which 'does what it says on the tin'!

The site features event listings for any business networking events taking place in Surrey, whoever is organising them. Networking in Surrey is the brainchild of enthusiastic networkers Keith Grover and Chris Lunn. "We have created a free resource we had been looking for ourselves - a 'one-stop-shop' to find out about all the networking events within easy reach. Although NetworknginSurrey.com is a website, it's really all about facilitating face-to-face networking," says Keith Grover.

Business people who network in Surrey can also join the site's community for just £15 per quarter, which allows them to post events and have their own profile on Networking in Surrey. Keith Grover adds, "We were amazed how much work we had to do just to find out what's going on on our doorstep. Too many neworking organisations don't give you all the details you need to get to their event - such as a full postcode for your satnav, or a Google map. Often they don't give you costs, and some don't even tell you how to book the event. You have to visit lots of sites to plan your networking diary because event organisers don't want to publicise other people's events. It was all just too hard, in our experience." {Confused}

"We have found a couple of pretty good sites, listing events from a number of organisations, but they are either ciovering too large an area to make it practicable to get to most of the events they listed as 'in your area', or the site itself was just too darned complicated - trying to do too many things at once! On Networking in Surrey, we're trying to make it like the meerkat in the advert says: 'Simples!'" {Wink}

Keith and Chris welcome feedback and reviews of the site - and the first 100 people to join the Networking in Surrey .com site community get the first three months membership FREE, saving £15. {Grin}
