Services Quality (15th Dec 09 at 6:45pm UTC)
I had a pretty horrible December up to the moment regarding services. I mean very bad. I hope most of you had much better experiences than me.
This inspired me to have a closer look and see what is happening on Surrey scene regarding commercially available services. Did they improve in search for clients in tough times or they horrible as companies in order to cut their costs cut on floor staff?
As we are going to write a little bit more about services quality during next couple of weeks we need information from you. Let us know how was it your customer experience on the way to Christmas (or Maybe on some other occasion). Please focus on Surrey examples if possible.
- Was everything smooth?
- Someone was brilliant and saved situation for you?
- Maybe you were unlucky like I was?
let us know.
You can send us private message if you like. You can also send a contact form
These privately sent information will remain confidential and we won't quote any names. We will use these as resources and to summarise overall performance. We are looking for some patterns among services.
Are Surrey Estate Agents better than Surrey Restaurants?

I'm listening to BBC radio at the moment, where they are talking about this exact problem. The focus of the dicussion on the radio is post office service: stories of people having to queue for 25 minutes! So I was wondering if anyone here has experienced bad post office service in their area?

Very good subject. I believe our services needs a lot of attention - banks especially.

Post Offices vary one from another depends on who has franchise. Very important is also location. I work in Weybridge and I know that my closest branches are completely useless
- Weybridge High Street - my record 35 Minutes and staff tried to cheat me 20p
- Walton-on-Thames High Street - record 30 minutes and one guy (boss I believe) just stood watching line while two girls tried to sort out everything
In my opinion in high street Post Offices you can end up with very bad service and very long queues because of local branches being closed down during last couple of years

On the other hand I found post offices next to TESCO stores great and free of crowds
- Addlestone
- Molesey

They also opened up to 18:00 which is just perfect - almost like should be so people after work can do all their stuff with no problem.
I also found that High Street East Molesey Post Office is also good
