After surveying the rubbish, Mole Valley County Council served an order against Mr Wallace under the Town and Country Planning Act telling him to clear up the mess. Despite living in an area of outstanding natural beauty, he won the appeal to keep a mountain of rubbish in his front garden, consiting of six old cars, old furniture, building material, newspapers and empty food containers.
Does someone horde rubbish in your neighbourhood? Do you think it could have a negative affect on the value of your own property and think it's untidy and not a good image for the whole town, or do you congratulate him on winning the court battle and think he should be allowed to do as he wants with his own property? | |
