Secondary Schools Becoming Academies

If you have just read the latest news article about the plans Surrey Council has to turn all Secondary Schools into academies, we want to know your opinion on it.

Is the lack of local power something worth sacrificing for potentially better performing schools?

If children are achieving better grades it should be all good, but if I dread to think what they would teach our kids if a corporation like McDonalds got hold of a school.
