Scams Warnings in Surrey
(Posted On: Tue 07th Dec 2010 at 11:00)
Have you ever been a victim of a scam in Surrey?

Let us know so others don't get scammed.

I haven't personally been a victim of this scam but I know of people who have.

This can occur at any shop or supermarket that offers cash back when paying by card.

The victim purchases items and uses credit or debit card for payment and a cash back amount is added to the final amount due (say £20). the victim doesn't receive any cash back and the money is then passed to an accomplice who is in line behind the victim.

Make sure you check your receipts for any cash back amounts so you don't fall for this one.
