Well, The Guardian Family Network - a company who provide loving and caring families to do just that - are looking for families across the local area and surrounding counties, to help care for children studying in UK boarding schools!
Being a Guardian Family for an overseas child studying in the UK, is an extremely rewarding and enjoyable experience; with relationships formed often lasting many years. If your own children are still at home, it’s a wonderful opportunity for them to make new friends and learn about other countries and cultures. Perhaps your own children have flown the nest, gone off to university and you now have a spare bedroom to put to good use. Or you simply like the idea of becoming involved in a young person’s life, supporting them at school and being their ‘English family’ whilst they are away from home. And although the role is voluntary, all incurred costs are covered by very generous expenses.
