Walton Bridge History - Wrong version on our website | | Hello Everyone
We have request to change History page on Walton Town Page
This is to do with Walton Bridge
We were contacted by a local resident and he says:
The fourth Bridge at Walton on Thames is NOT a Bailey Bridge. It was designed by A.M. Hamilton in 1930, made by Callender Cables Ltd., as is called a Callender-Hamilton Bridge. This type was used in many places and built in Walton in 1953. Will you please change the bridge information on this websight.
Anyone knows sources (other than Wikipedia) which we can use to verify this information
