Keeping Fit and Healthy (9th Jul 09 at 8:48pm UTC)
Healthy lifestyle
Hi all,
My name is Gavin Smith I am a personal trainer and fit-camp instructor based in Surrey. With this forum page I was hoping to start up a way to improve healthy lifestyles, and getting people to share their stories to motivate others.

If you are wanting to get fit, lose weight or achieve a personal fitness goal, my biggest word of advice is to be Organised!! The first step is to find out what your real goal actually is, this sometimes could take a bit of searching with yourself. If you have it jot it down and have a look at a calender and put it down at the date you want to achieve it by.

If you have your goals get them on the forum so we can all keep each other motivated and on track. Or if you want any help with figuring out how to come up with your goal feel free to drop me a private email.

Keep Fit
Gavin

Keeping Fit and Healthy: the first step (13th Jul 09 at 4:05pm UTC)
Hi all,
Once you have picked your healthy lifestyle goal that you are going to work towards. The best way to keep on track of your goal is to start your own small and very simple healthy lifestyle journal or notebook. This will be a great first step to your goal and will give you excellent motivation further down the line when you can look back and actually see how far you have come.
First of all to make sure your goal is something that you want to achieve, ask yourself and write down how committed you are on a scale of 1-10 (10 being completely dedicated), next write down why you want to achieve this and how you would feel once you have completed your goal. With this written down in your journal whenever you lack commitment and motivation you can look at why you’re doing what you’re doing it and how much better off and the sense of achievement you will feel when you conquer your goal!
Summary:
Get Organised - Get Committed
Keep Fit,
Gavin
