Volunteer Councillors Needed for Kid's Hospice (22nd Sep 10 at 8:40am UTC)
guildford
The Chase Children's Hospice in Guilford is special need of volunteers to help them out.

Counselling forms a vital part of the practical, emotional and nursing support that CHASE offers to local families with life-limited children. The charity is appealing for anyone who has undertaken a recognised counselling course to become part of their team of volunteer bereavement counsellors to provide counselling support to bereaved families in Surrey and areas of South West London. In return the volunteers will receive excellent training, support and the opportunity to be part of an exciting team.

Heather Tilley, Family support & Bereavement Counsellor at CHASE said: “Counselling is a vital part of the CHASE service. Our aim is to be able to provide counselling to any family member that needs our help through very difficult times.

“Volunteer counsellors have been extremely important in supporting the CHASE therapies team enabling us to reach out to even more family members. We are now specifically looking for trained counsellors to help us to support bereaved families in Surrey and South West London.”

If you can help out please go to the Chase Children's Hospice website
