Richard Holloway from Surrey is braving the cold winter weather 24/7 for a week dressed as a fairy in aid of Sussex hospice.
He's living on a platform above a Christmas tree display at the Knights Ivy Mill Garden Centre, near Godstone. He has with him only a waterproof shelter and a sleeping bag to protect him from the elements.
After spending the first night in temperatures of -4C, he said "his feet were cold but his spirits were high".
What do you think, is it a good idea or is he just plain crazy?
