Did you know that in the 1740s the Duke of Newcastle had a menagerie at Claremont Landscape Garden?
Visitors will get the exciting opportunity to meet a wide variety of creatures, from snakes, lizards and creepy crawlies to less exotic animals like rabbits and hedgehogs.
We'll also be running a fun range of activities throughout the day, including animal handling, beetle racing, snake & lizard feeding and photo opportunities. Feeling nervous? Don’t worry, the team will be happy to help you conquer your fears and phobias – you’ll be holding a spider in no time!
