Godalming Town Council is responsible for the installation of Christmas lights in Godalming town centre.
Over the last few years, new lights have been purchased with many Godalming businesses contributing to the cost of buying the lights although it is the Town Council that meets the annual costs of putting them up and taking them down again.

Godalming Christmas Festival
Start this year’s Christmas celebrations in the beautiful and historic town of Godalming in Surrey. Our 2011 Godalming Christmas Festival takes place on Saturday 26 November from 10am-6pm and combines a magical Christmas Market, festive entertainment, Carol Singing and visit from Father Christmas.
We look forward to welcoming you to the festivities in Godalming on Saturday 27 November.
