Hampton Court - School trips
(Posted On: Fri 15th Aug 2014 at 09:47)
For Tudor and local history Hampton Court is one the ideal locations for a school trip.

The Tudor history within the Palace allows you to step back in time to a Tudor world. By providing the chance to meet royal entertainers, see what Henry VIII's crown would have looked like and view The Chapel Royal which has been used for 450 years.

For wildlife and plants Hampton Court also has stunning gardens to enjoy. They include the Privy Garden and Kitchen Garden as well as the Maze and one of the biggest vine plants in the world. But that's not all, the Palace also offers the chance to see a historic tennis court which was built in 1625 by Charles I and is still used today.

Hampton Court themselves run sessions led by presenters, designed to teach about a range of subjects across the school curriculum.

Location:
Hampton Court, East Molesey, Surrey KT8 9AU.
