Beare Green online
(Posted On: Thu 28th May 2009 at 22:03)
dorking
Hi folk,

I moved to Beare Green three years ago - from London - and have enjoyed my time here. We don't have the prettiest village in Surrey, but it's still amazing. There are some wonderful walks, cycling routes and places for kids to play.

Spending a lot of time online (it's my job) I noticed that there's not many places to hang out or catch up on local news, events or even gossip without visiting bigger more generic press sites.

So, I've started a Beare Green blog (http://bearegreen.wordpress.com) as well as a supporting Beare Green Twitter account (http://twitter.com/bearegreen) and a Beare Green Flickr photo group (http://www.flickr.com/groups/1127977@N21/) too. If you live local (Beare Green) and would like to be involved let me know. I'm specifically looking for writers and photographers to be a part of it.

I'm a local Beare Green (Surrey) resident who wants to establish connections with fellow residents. I write a blog, manage a Flickr photos group as well as Twitter account all trying to promote our fantastic village.

Welcome,
Beare Green sounds like a nice little place. I'm sure you'll find plenty of places here to spread the word! {Smile}  Have you checked out the Walks in Surrey board in our Surrey Living section yet? I'm sure you have some great walks or cycle routes to share with others! {Cheesy}
