STEPS Across Surrey 2010 (19th Oct 09 at 7:06pm UTC) a marathon of a walk
www.surreycaretrust.org.uk You may be interested to know that the date for STEPS Across Surrey 2010 is Saturday September 25th. This will be the 7th outing for this epic of a sponsored walk raising money for the STEPS education programmes of the Surrey Care Trust. STEPS supports young people who are struggling to fit into and thrive at mainstream school and who are often coping with other challenges and difficult situations in their lives.
STEPS Across Surrey 2009 took place recently and is expected to raise well over £8,000. The route was 26 miles from Guildford and back through the Surrey Hills and among the 50 walkers was Surrey's top policeman Mark Rowley, the Chief Constable.
