To me it does sound very expensive as this site was created for around £20,000. How would you all like that money to be spent?

Unless they are talking about the people they employ for the site as running a website doenst cost allot of money at all!

I do hope the council spends our hard earned money more prudently next time.

For example look on my site: it cost me £700 and I'm managing it myself, so no extra cost... So what are they spending those money on?

Being a user generated website here at Surrey-Online.CO.UK (SOL), we are not financed by Surrey County Council.

Am running a technology based company in Surrey... definitely benefiting from the advantages of social media and forums such as this:
Here is a link to advertise for jobs within your company... or to search for jobs within all sectors within the county of Surrey.
