Service in Surrey

Previously in 2009 we asked about the service from companies, restaurants etc. In Surrey.

What I was wondering is if they have improved at all? I have found some shops such as Waitrose very friendly in customer service for example.

Whether good or bad, what are your experiences of service in Surrey?
